The project involved the adaptation of the marine infrastructure and surroundings, respecting Port Premia’s Land Use Plan. Specifically, the quays were expanded to 360 ml with capacity for 566 berths and the construction of 7 new jetties for boats from 6 to 30 meters long.
The works included the construction of the quay around the perimeter of the basin, and its dredging. On the other hand, land was claimed to the sea for the location of the new fishing pier, a recovery center for marine animals and an educational center. Moreover we adapted a technical area for vessels with over 8,700 m² of useful esplanade, with a 2,500 m² area reserved for the construction of shipyards.
Works also included the adaptation of a shopping area (approx. 3,000 m²) parallel to the pier with the corresponding service networks as well as the construction of 1,600 m² new access roads, an outside parking (350 spaces) and the Habour Master’s Office.
