This project’s main aim is to support the Llevant Barcelona infrastructure, in the award, of the hotel plot called “Hotel Plaza Forum” within the Port Forum Marina, to a bidder under the most favorable economic conditions. The consultancy work included:

• Estimate expected selling plot price.
• Suggestions within the basis and auction-bidding process to suit the needs of the market and to ensure success in the competition.
• Purchase Agreement review.
• Necessary support material preparation for the competition’s promotion at national and international levels. Approach potential developers and hotel operators.
• Technical assistance in the evaluation of the tenders received.

Scope, Challenges and Accomplished Objectives

• External-consulting services in collaboration with Tourism & Leisure in the process of granting traffic rights for a hotel establishment of 469 rooms in the Plaza Forum venue. Technical assistance in defining the land impact price concession and purchase of the hotel plot, contractual specifications and tender documentation and evaluation of the proposals received.
